Minnesota Debt Limit of Municipalities, Amendment 1 (1904)

The Minnesota Debt Limit of Municipalities Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the November 8, 1904 ballot in Minnesota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure increased the debt limit of municipalities borrowing school and university funds to up to 15% of the assessed valuation of the taxable property of the county, city or school district.[1]
