Betty Davis is the Trustee Area 6 representative on the Ceres Unified School District school board in California. First elected in 2005, Davis sought a new term in the by-district general election that was scheduled to be held on November 7, 2017. Due to lack of opposition, however, the district canceled the election. Davis was re-elected to a five-year term on the board by default.[1]

Incumbents Mike Welsh, Valli Wigt, Lourdes Perez, and Betty Davis were the only candidates to file for the Trustee Area 2, 3, 5, and 6 seats, respectively. They were re-elected to their seats by default.[1]
