Campaign themes

2016

The following issues were listed on Sinuk's campaign website. For a full list of campaign themes, click here.

  • Abortion: I absolutely believe in a woman’s right to choose. I recognize that this a personal issue that should be carefully thought out between a woman and her doctor.
  • Guns: I wholeheartedly support the right to bear arms, but I also believe we need to be sensible in protecting our citizens from unwanted shootings.
  • Immigration: Immigration is one of Arizona's core political issues and I support an easier path to citizenship for non-violent immigrants who wish to come over and make a better life for themselves and their families. I believe this country was founded by immigrants for immigrants, but we need a smart plan that also protects our citizens.
  • Taxes: The gap between those that have and those who don’t is growing every year. Taxes need to be fair and balanced, and I believe we need to close tax loopholes that favor those at the top income bracket and multi-million dollar corporations.
  • Education: At 49th in terms of education, Arizona is in a major crisis that needs to be addressed now. We must focus on improving schools and increasing teachers' pay to ensure that our children receive the best education possible.
