Bryn Horton
Bryn Horton is an at-large member of the Sun Prairie Area Board of Education in Wisconsin. She assumed office in 2018. Her current term ends on April 26, 2027.
Horton ran for re-election for an at-large seat of the Sun Prairie Area Board of Education in Wisconsin. She won in the general election on April 2, 2024.
Biography
Horton graduated from Elgin High School in 1994. She went on to earn an associate degree from Elgin Community College and a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. Her professional experience includes working in the pharmaceutical industry. She and her husband have two children who attended district schools as of March 2018.[1] Horton has served as the president and vice president of the community organizations for the district's Eastside Elementary and Patrick Marsh Middle schools. She has also served on the School Space Committee, the Parent Leadership Council, and the Boundary Task Force.[2]

Two of the seven seats on the Sun Prairie Area School District school board in Wisconsin were up for at-large general election on April 3, 2018. Incumbent Marta Hansen did not file for re-election, leaving one open seat. Incumbent Marilyn Ruffin and newcomer Bryn Horton defeated candidate Paul Kudrle.[3][4]
