|- Vocational education must be our top priority as board members, educators and scholars. It is my top priority to advocate for all public schools of Wake County to implement Vocational studies within our school/ curricular design and elective options. All children deserve the opportunity to obtain knowledge and skill of their desired lifelong practice and, or , career; and we as board member and educators are able and qualified to implement and support this initiative. It is necessary for us as board members to recognize this necessity needed in our school for our scholars to gain life goals and be career ready.
- Cultural diversity recognition within our schools curriculum and building design is essential to preserving and being proud of our nation, and teaching true American history. Also including vocational education options and real world, problem- based learning experiences for students wanting to reach advanced academic levels. Targeting real world problems within their subject of choice; in efforts to preserving our future and being able to compete academically and on a globalized level
- Teacher vacancy is an urgent matter in which must be resolved immediately. for the betterment of our scholars, we must adequately support our teacher. As a teacher myself, it will always be my continuous obligation to advocate for adequate teachers’ pay and support in their area of expertise. Increasing teachers’ pay will assist in recognizing and uplifting our quality teachers, in efforts to supporting teachers economically and within their areas of focus, advocating for teacher retention in our schools.
