Damon Dunn
Damon Dunn (born 1976 in Arlington, Texas) is a former professional football player and realtor. A year after he announced his candidacy for the statewide office of secretary of state, he lost to Democratic incumbent Debra Bowen in the general election after receiving thirty-nine percent of the vote.[1]

Professional experience
While still an undergraduate, Dunn served as an associate pastor at the Jerusalem Baptist Church, managing both the children's and youth ministries there. Upon receiving bachelor's degree, he began a successful career in the National Football League (NFL) playing for such teams as the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Cleveland Browns, the New York Jets, and the Dallas Cowboys and being mentored by coaching legends like Bill Walsh, Bill Parcells, Tyrone Willingham and Tom Coughlin. Following his retirement from football in 2002, Dunn co-founded a successful real estate firm with holdings across the country.
