Khalif Rainey was a member of the Milwaukee Common Council in Wisconsin, representing District 7. He assumed office in 2016. He left office on April 16, 2024.
Rainey ran for re-election to the Milwaukee Common Council to represent District 7 in Wisconsin. He won in the general election on April 7, 2020.
Biography
Rainey is from Milwaukee, Wis., and attended Riverside University High School. He received a bachelor's degree from the Southern University Nelson Mandela School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs. Rainey's professional experience includes working as a staffer for state Representative Gwen Moore (D).[1]

The city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, held elections for mayor and city council on April 5, 2016. A primary election took place on February 16, 2016. All 15 city council seats were up for election. Khalif Rainey defeated Michael Bonds in the Milwaukee City Council District 7 general election.[2]
