Campaign themes

2016

Cox's campaign website listed the following themes for 2016:

I believe that local government is very important to the people in our community, the Local School Board can be one of most over looked pieces of government, and our school board members could be our most important elected officials. Our young people are the most valuable resource we have and the way we shape their early lives will determine how they will shape their local communities, state, nation, and the world.

I Believe Local School Boards should govern their schools and the state should respect this and not attempt to gain control of school districts.

I believe we should prepare our children to enter the work force of tomorrow by developing a curriculum that allows them to be ready to work.

When making any decision, the first thing I will ask Is this decision the best one for the kids?

If ELECTED I Promise to always put the needs of the children first!! [3]
