Larry Crim was a candidate for District 4 representative on the Renton Board of Directors in Washington. He filed for the general election on November 3, 2015, but later discovered that he did not live with the District 4 seat's boundaries. He withdrew from the race.[1][2]

Opposition
Three of the five seats on the Renton Board of Directors were up for general election on November 3, 2015. Initially, all three incumbents up for re-election filed to seek new terms on the board, but one later withdrew from the race.
District 1 incumbent Todd Franceschina saw one challenger file to run against him, Sarah Sanoy-Wright; however, Sanoy-Wright withdrew from the race leaving Franceschina to win re-election without opposition. District 3 incumbent Lynn Desmarais, meanwhile, defeated challenger Larry Wright on the ballot.[1]
Initially, District 4 incumbent Denise Eider initially filed to seek re-election and would have faced challenger Larry Crim on the ballot. Eider, however, withdrew from the race which would have left Crim unopposed.[1] After the filing period, it was discovered that Crim did not live within the boundaries of the District 4 seat. He also withdrew from the race, necessitating a special filing period for the election. Gloria Hodge was the only person to file for the race during that time and won the seat unopposed.[2]
Funding
Crim reported no contributions or expenditures to the Washington Public Disclosure Commission in this election.[3]
