Kris Oliver
Kris Oliver was the Place 3 representative on the Richardson Independent School District Board of Trustees in Texas. Oliver was re-elected without opposition to a three-year term in 2016. In January 2017, he announced his resignation from the board effective May 2017. He said he was leaving his position in order to give his daughter the ability to apply for a job in the district upon her graduation from college.[1]

Place 4 incumbent Katherine Patterson and Place 5 incumbent Eron Linn were the only candidates to file for their respective seats. Place 3 incumbent Kris Oliver defeated George Clayton in the election.[2]
