My Master's Degree is in Education and I am certified by the Florida Department of Education in Educational Leadership, Exceptional Student Education and School Counseling. I have worked in public education for over 20 years in various roles ranging from middle school counselor, school social worker, middle and high school assistant principal, coordinator of evaluations, director for professional development and virtual school administrator. I have extensive experience in community service in St. Augustine, having been a member (and past president) of the Junior Service League for 20 years, a founding member and current president of the All American Air Charitable Foundation and a volunteer for multiple non-profit organizations.
  • My education and experience and commitment to community service have prepared me well for the role of school board member.
  • I will be committed to recruiting, retaining and supporting top-notch teachers and staff.
  • I know our schools and care about their success, I am fully committed to a high-quality public education for all students in St. Johns County.
Access to high-quality public education for all is one of my core values. I believe that education opens doors and provides opportunities for children to discover new career paths, interests and aptitudes.
I am an educator at heart and believe that education opens doors. The high-quality of the St. Johns County public schools (A school district since 2004) is something that I am proud to have been a part of since 1995. I would like to be remembered for my educator’s heart, my good judgment, ability to listen and be discerning, my positivity and optimism, my educational expertise, my work ethic and my dedication to this community.
