Gerard H. Rosenberg was a justice of the Kings County Supreme Court, Civil Term in the 2nd Judicial District of New York. He was elected to that position in 1999 and became a certificated justice in 2006. He retired in December 2011.[1][2][3]

Education

Rosenberg received his B.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1956 and his J.D. degree from the Brooklyn School of Law in 1959.[1]

Career

Rosenberg began his career in 1960 as a private practice lawyer. He became a law secretary for Kings County Supreme Court Justice Aaron Koota in 1974. He then served as law secretary to Kings County Supreme Court Justice Irving Rader from 1976 to 1984.

Rosenberg's judicial career began in 1985 when he was elected to the New York City Civil Court. He served in this capacity through 1998 and was also an Acting Supreme Court Justice from 1997 to 1999. He was then elected to the Kings County Supreme Court.[1]
