Haiganush R. Bedrosian
Haiganush R. Bedrosian is a former chief judge of the Rhode Island Family Court.[1] She was appointed to the court in 1980 by Governor J. Joseph Garrahy. In October 2010, Governor Donald Carcieri nominated her to serve as chief judge of the court, and she was sworn in on December 17, 2010.[2][3] Bedrosian retired on January 8, 2016.[4]
Education
Bedrosian received her undergraduate degree from Brown University and her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.[2]
Career
Bedrosian was appointed to the family court in 1980. Prior to this, she worked in private practice and as a prosecutor.[2]
