Linda K. Breathitt is a former member of the Kentucky Public Service Commission. She was appointed by Gov. Steve Beshear in May 2012. Breathitt was reappointed to a second term in 2013. Breathitt resigned from her position in February 2015.[1][2]

Biography

Breathitt began her career in government as executive director of the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s office in Washington, D.C., assisting state officials and agencies with matters involving the federal government. Breathitt first served on the KPSC from 1993 to 1997. In November 1997 she was appointed by President Bill Clinton to a five-year term on the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. After this stint she served as a senior energy and regulatory adviser with the firm Thelen Reid & Priest LLC. She was named to the KPSC for the second time in 2012 and has served on it since.[3]

Kentucky Public Service Commission (2012-2015)

Breathitt served as a member of the Kentucky Public Service Commission from May 21, 2012 to February 2015.[4] Her term was set to expire June 30, 2017, but she resigned from her position in February of 2015.[2]

Breathitt previously served as a member of the Kentucky Public Service Commission from 1993-1997.

Breathitt was appointed to the Kentucky Public Service Commission by Gov. Steve Beshear on May 11, 2012, effective May 21, 2012. Breathitt replaced Charlie Borders who resigned in December 2011.[4]
