Matthew Houde (b. March 27, 1969) is a former Democratic member of the New Hampshire State Senate, representing District 5 from 2008 to 2012..

Houde served in the New Hampshire State House of Representatives from 2006 to 2008.

Houde was an attorney for Brown Rudnick from 1998 to 2000. He then worked as a Project Manager for the University of Alabama, Birmingham, from 2000 to 2001. He also worked as an attorney for Hinckley, Allen and Snyder from 2002 to 2003. He has been Assistant Director of the Vermont Law School Office of Career Services since 2003.

Houde earned his B.A. from Dartmouth College in 1991. He went on to receive his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1997.
