Orion L. Douglass
Orion L. Douglass was a state court judge for Glynn County, Georgia.[1] He was elected to this position in 1992 and retired on December 23, 2012.[2]
Education
Judge Douglass received his bachelor's degree from Holy Cross College in 1968 and his law degree from the Washington University Law School in 1971.[3]
Career
Judge Douglass began his career working for the St. Louis Legal Aid Society. He then became a St. Louis assistant circuit attorney until 1974, when he moved back to Georgia and joined the firm of Hill, Jones & Farrington as an associate counsel. After working as a lawyer in Glynn County, he was appointed to the Brunswick Municipal Court, where he served until his election to the Glynn County State Court.[3]
