Spaniola ran for election to the 51st Circuit Court.
Primary: He was successful in the primary on August 5, 2014, receiving 30.8 percent of the vote. He competed against Craig R. Cooper, David M. Glancy, and Susan K. Sniegowski.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 46.4 percent of the vote. He competed against Susan K. Sniegowski. [1][2] 

Education

Spaniola received his undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University and his J.D. degree from the University of Toledo College of Law.[3]

Career

Spaniola is a prosecutor for Mason County. He previously served as an assistant prosecutor, worked in private practice, and taught as an adjunct professor for the West Shore Community College Law Enforcement Program.[3]
