Paula Hill is the former District 1 incumbent on the Alpine Board of Education in Utah. She won re-election against challenger Julie King in the general election on November 4, 2014. Hill did not file to run for re-election in 2018.

Hill and her husband are both retired educators living in Saratoga Springs. She received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Brigham Young University. Hill has eight children and six step-children; twelve of whom attended Alpine School District.[1]

The November 4, 2014, general election in the Alpine School District featured four seats up for election. In the District 1 race, incumbent Paula Hill faced challenger Julie King. In the District 2 race, primary winners Lynne Brockbank Mower and incumbent Wendy K. Hart faced off. District 3 incumbent John C. Burton faced challenger Chris Jolley. In the District 5 race, primary winners Maynard R. Olsen and incumbent JoDee C. Sundberg faced off.

All four incumbents-Paula Hill, Wendy K. Hart, John C. Burton and JoDee C. Sundberg-won re-election.
