Thomas M. Lynch is a judge on the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He was appointed to the court on January 3, 2013, and his current term will expire on January 2, 2027.[1]
Education
Lynch received his undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton, a Master's degree from the University of Chicago and his J.D. from the Northwestern University School of Law.[1]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Lynch was Of Counsel to the firm Faegre Baker Daniels LLP. He was previously a partner with the firms Baker & Daniels and Wildman, Harrold, Allen & Dixon. He is also an adjunct faculty at Northwestern University and has taught at the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.[1]
