Vickie Yates Glisson
Vickie Yates Glisson (Republican Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Kentucky's 3rd Congressional District. She lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.
Biography
Vickie Yates Brown Glisson lives in Louisville, Kentucky. She graduated from Spencer County High School in 1972. Glisson earned a bachelor's degree in American studies from Georgetown College in 1976 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky School of Law in 1979. Her career experience includes working as a health insurance lawyer, professor of law at the University of Louisville, and as president and CEO of Nucleus: Kentucky's Innovation Center, LLC. In 2015, Glisson was appointed by Governor Matt Bevin to serve as secretary of the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services.[1][2]
