Tyler Axness
Tyler Axness is a former Democratic member of the North Dakota State Senate, representing District 16 from 2012 to 2016.
Axness ran for North Dakota Public Service Commissioner in the special election to fill the remaining two years in the unexpired term.[1] Tyler Axness lost the general election on November 4, 2014.
Biography
Axness earned his B.A. in political science from North Dakota State University. His professional experience includes working as the communications and policy coordinator for Freedom Resource Center.[2]

2014
Axness ran in the special election for the office of North Dakota Public Service Commissioner to fill the remaining two years in the unexpired term. Axness won the Democratic nomination in the unopposed primary on June 10. The general election took place on November 4, 2014.[1]

2012
Axness ran in the 2012 election for North Dakota Senate District 16. Axness ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 12. He defeated David Duff (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[7][8]
