Joshua Blick
Joshua Blick was a candidate for District 4 representative on the Wichita Public Schools Board of Education in Kansas. He was defeated in the general election on April 7, 2015. Blick's opponent, incumbent Jeffery Davis, unofficially withdrew from the race in mid-March 2015, making Blick essentially unopposed. Davis' withdrawal was too late to take his name off the ballot, and voters re-elected him over Blick.
While the board is a nonpartisan political body, Blick is a self-identified Republican.[1] On April 7, 2013, Blick ran for an unexpired term as District 4 representative on the Wichita City Council. He was defeated in the general election by Jeff Blubaugh, who won by just 46 votes.[2]
Biography
Blick was born on February 22, 1977, in Wichita, Kan. He is part owner of a computer and console gaming company in addition to being an admissions coordinator for a technical institution. Blick is married and has two children. He is a member of the Westside Freewill Baptist Church.[1]
