Three of the five seats on the Lompoc Unified School District Board of Education were up for at-large general election on November 8, 2016. Incumbent Henry Gallina filed for re-election and faced challengers Richard King, Richard "Dick" Barrett, and Jeff Carlovsky.[1] All three challengers won election to the board.[2]
