Jennifer L. Koethe was a judge for the LaPorte County Superior Court in Indiana. She was elected to the position in 2009.[1] She was defeated in her bid for re-election in 2014. She retired from the bench when her term ended on December 31, 2014.[2]

Primary: She ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on May 6, 2014.
General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 43.9 percent of the vote. She competed against Jeffrey L. Thorne. [2][3]

Koethe earned her B.S. from the Lee Honors College of Western Michigan University in 1995. She received her J.D. in 1999 from the Valparaiso University School of Law.[1]
