John C. Burton
John C. Burton is the former District 3 incumbent on the Alpine Board of Education in Utah. He won re-election against challenger Chris Jolley general election on November 4, 2014. Burton did not file to run for re-election in 2018.

The November 4, 2014, general election in the Alpine School District featured four seats up for election. In the District 1 race, incumbent Paula Hill faced challenger Julie King. In the District 2 race, primary winners Lynne Brockbank Mower and incumbent Wendy K. Hart faced off. District 3 incumbent John C. Burton faced challenger Chris Jolley. In the District 5 race, primary winners Maynard R. Olsen and incumbent JoDee C. Sundberg faced off.
All four incumbents-Paula Hill, Wendy K. Hart, John C. Burton and JoDee C. Sundberg-won re-election.
