John Siefert
John Siefert was a judge for the Milwaukee County Circuit Court, Branch 47, in Wisconsin. Siefert was elected to the bench in 1997.[1][2] He served until the conclusion of his most recent term in 2017.
Education
Siefert received a bachelor's degree from the University of Chicago and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.[3]
Career
Prior to becoming a judge for the Milwaukee County Circuit Court, Seifert was a judge for the Milwaukee County Municipal Court from 1993 until 1997. Seifert was also Milwaukee County treasurer in 1990 and 1992 and had previously worked as a police officer.[4]
2011 election

Siefert was re-elected to the Milwaukee County Circuit Court after running unopposed on April 5, 2011.[5][6]
