The California Business Roundtable (CBRT), according to its website, is "a nonpartisan organization comprised of the senior executive leadership of the major employers throughout the state – with a combined workforce of more than half a million employees." For more than thirty-five years the Roundtable has identified the issues critical to a healthy business climate and provided the leadership needed to strengthen California’s economy and create jobs.[1]
Ballot measures
In conjunction with Pepperdine University, CBRT used the polling firm M4 Strategies to conduct online polls every two weeks starting in July 2012 about the 11 statewide ballot propositions on the November 6, 2012, ballot.[2]
