Campaign website
Lancaster's campaign website stated the following:
“ |
I believe in the power of individual liberty and the importance of safeguarding our constitutional rights, which has informed my stance on several key issues. **Property Rights** are paramount. I stand for the protection of private property rights and am vehemently against eminent domain abuse. The government should have very limited power in regulating the use and development of one's personal property. The idea that the government can take private property for any use, even with compensation, is something I cannot support. **Free Speech** is another cornerstone of my campaign. The First Amendment rights - freedom of assembly and speech without fear of persecution - are foundational to our Constitution and our way of life. Without these freedoms, we edge closer to tyranny. I am committed to upholding and protecting these rights for all individuals within our community. When it comes to **Law and Order**, I stand firmly with our law enforcement agencies and first responders. Having seen the sacrifices they make, I believe it is our civic duty to ensure they have access to the best training and tools. This commitment not only helps them serve our community more effectively but also ensures they return safely to their families every day. My career, though I haven't detailed specific responsibilities, achievements, or skills here, has deeply informed my approach to these critical issues. Outside of my professional life, I am passionate about the outdoors. Trail riding with my horses and geocaching with my children and grandchildren are not just hobbies; they reflect my personality and my commitment to our community's betterment. I am running for Congress because I believe in our district's potential and the importance of preserving our freedoms for future generations. I invite you to join me in this journey, as we work together to ensure a brighter future for Indiana's 3rd Congressional District.[2] |
