A. James Craner is a judge of the Florida 9th Circuit Court. He assumed office in 2014. His current term ends on January 2, 2029.

Craner won re-election for judge of the Florida 9th Circuit Court outright in the general election on November 8, 2022, after the primary and general election were canceled.

Craner was appointed to the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court by Gov. Rick Scott on November 14, 2014, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Belvin Perry, Jr.[1]

Before his appointment to the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court, Craner served as a judge for the Orange County Court. He was also appointed to this court by Governor Rick Scott in May 2011 to replace Michael Murphy.[2][3]
