Brent Cloninger is a district court judge for the 19A Judicial District, which presides over Cabarrus County of North Carolina. He was elected to the court in 2010. Cloninger ran for re-election to the 19A Judicial District in 2014, winning a new term that expired on December 31, 2018.[1][2]

General: He defeated Juanita Boger Allen in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 63.2 percent of the vote. [1] 

Judicial performance evaluation

In July 2014, the North Carolina Bar Association released the results of a survey in which it asked lawyers to rate the judicial candidates for the trial courts. The candidates were rated from one to five on five different criteria as well as on their overall performance.[3]

2010

Cloninger was elected to the 19A Judicial District. He defeated Michael G. Knox in the general election, winning 51.25 percent of the vote.[4]
