Chris R. Schuchart
Chris R. Schuchart is a judge of the Medina County Court in Texas. He assumed office on January 1, 2015.

Education
Schuchart received a B.S. from Texas A&M University in 1978, going on to earn a master's degree in business administration there in 1980. He later graduated with a J.D. from St. Mary's University Law School in 1997.[1]
Career
Before earning his J.D., Schuchart spent fifteen years working for Xerox Corporation and later for American Physicians Services. He also gained experience as a comptroller and as the president of various public corporation divisions. Since graduating law school, Schuchart has pursued work as a city attorney (in LaCoste), a municipal judge (in Hondo), a municipal prosecutor and a private practitioner.[1]

Schuchart ran for election to the Medina County Court.
Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 62.9 percent of the vote. He competed against Keith A. Lutz.
General: He defeated Arthur B. Casias, Jr. in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 77.9 percent of the vote.
