I immigrated to the U.S. in 2003 from Uruguay and became a citizen in 2012 I started my American Dream as a dishwasher, then quickly was hired as a bilingual staffing diversity recruiter for Toyota. Soon after I became a safety training supervisor for one of the nation's largest railroad companies. After six years, I became a senior business analyst for a Fortune 500 company, where I attained a Microsoft certification. In 2016, I was the general manager for a $2 billion dollar meat distributor in Texas. After being promoted to the director of operations, my territory extended to Arizona. In 2017 my family and I moved full-time to Arizona, where we opened our own business The Box Meat Shop. In addition to being a successful small business owner, I'm also a triathlete having completed five Ironman competitions. I also have experience in Washington, D.C. as an advocate for lawful immigration, and recently decided after years of political involvement, to step into the political world of Arizona politics.

Campaign website

Pozzolo's campaign website stated the following:

JOBS AND PROSPERITY

The unemployment rate in Southern Arizona is double the national average. Tucson ranks as the 5th poorest city in the USA. Over twenty years, the policies of Raul Grijalva have devastated our economy. His policies only cut opportunities for you, not for corporations and politicians. I am an entrepreneur and a business owner. I have a life and a purpose outside of politics. With proven models, I aim to generate opportunity and economic growth in a safe and honest way. Our communities deserve to have access to the same opportunities that others do. We need to attract outside investors into our State and our District and make them see the value it holds. I have been very successful in doing this in private business. So, I know I will be successful in doing this as your Congressman.

STOP GRIJALVA’S WAR ON MINING

Arizona produces 70% of the copper used in the United States. Raul Grijalva has destroyed our mining industry through his radical activism. Thousands of high-paying, safe job opportunities are being killed by his hand. Not only is modern mining safe, but it complies with all safety and environmental rules. We recycle 75% of the water used in mining. Job-related fatalities are at record lows. You should be able to leave High School and earn $75,000 a year without a degree. You do not have to live in a community with a glass ceiling on your dreams.

EDUCATION

The first 7 years of a child's life are the most important. This is when they will learn to become a human being. Radical activists are forcing curriculums about sex and race into K-5 classrooms. We must stop the teaching of hate and division in our schools. It is time to end the sexual grooming of our children. Parents should have the choice of which school their children attend. So those who want their children to learn trades can do so, and ensure they're prepared for adult life.

BORDER

Grijalva has preached a message of hatred towards other races his entire life. He claims that minorities are under attack from a racist system. Yet, as part of that system, Raul has been an open borders advocate his entire life. Without a single mention of the destruction, cartels are bringing into our communities. The surge of deaths from fentanyl has been ever-present in our district. As is the absence of Grijalva's concerns. He will support more economic opportunities for Cartels than your children. Meanwhile, this fentanyl epidemic continues to consume human lives at the rate of 300 per day. It's time to have a Congressman who will fight alongside you to stop this deadly pandemic.

STOP SOCIALISM

As an immigrant who lived under a socialist government, I saw what socialism did to the country I was born in. Socialism has brought poverty and misery to many Latin countries. There is no country in the world that succeeded under socialist policies. The American system works and has worked for 250 years. That's why nobody migrates to Cuba or Venezuela. People will always move towards where the best opportunities are. That's why so many are coming to the United States. That's also why Californians are fleeing to Arizona, Texas, and Florida. Hardline socialist policies are ruining the 5th largest economy in the world. We cannot continue to let bad policies dictate where we can work, live, or raise our families.

TRADITIONAL FAMILY VALUES

Our traditional family values are under attack. Grijalva is pushing to indoctrinate your children through the school boards. He believes it's the school's right to teach children how they should view themselves. He does not believe in parents' rights. He is a radical who supports abortions, welfare, and dependence on government. As your congressman, I want to provide our people with every opportunity to succeed. This means a strong foundation is very important. This can only exist in a community that focuses on the strength of the nuclear family unit. Our traditional values are the foundation we all build our world perspective on. We cannot allow radical activists in government to attack our strong family values. Calling them toxic, racist, and every other dirty name in the book. I do not believe that any of us are wrong for wanting to give our kids a strong traditional upbringing. It's Grijalva who is wrong! I stand for your values and will fight to restore those values.

TRADE

Creating jobs and opportunities for our communities relies on the trade industry. Our district holds every port of entry from Mexico to Arizona. Grijalva graduated from The University of Arizona and went straight into politics. He has ZERO experience with trade and the economy. He has never worked for or ran a business in this economy. I have been an entrepreneur for most of my life. I have the vision and experience to incentivize trade with Mexico. We can use that trade to generate opportunities for investors to come and create jobs in our state.

SUPPORTING LAW AND ORDER

Raúl Grijalva and his political machine represent anything but law and order. He holds a long list of tasks that will place our community in danger. Including but not limited to defunding law enforcement. As a result of defunding law enforcement, crime rates will increase at alarming rates. Making the situation worse than it already is. Now Grijalva is not without aid. As the current mayor of Tucson Regina Romero has added fuel to the fire. Making the relationship between law enforcement and its citizens worse. We demand a community to see our children play in the streets, to live and grow, and to call a place our home.

GRIJALVA’S WAR ON THE OIL INDUSTRY

No more than two years ago we as a nation were energy independent. Gas and Oil exports created thousands of safe jobs. It also helped keep the domestic price of gas under $2.00 a gallon. Unfortunately, the same doesn't apply today. Grijalva along with Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden keep a firm grip on the Natural Resources Committee in DC. They are the only thing standing in the way of an oil industry that serves the people. Instead, they would have us rely on Russia and foreign nations for resources we already own. This only hurts small businesses and the working-class people of our District. Yet, it does work for the Government when they can print endless money. Rendering our dollar worthless for me and you. While they can buy resources at a premium from other Countries.[1]
