Cotthoff received his undergraduate degree from Centre College in 1996 and his J.D. degree from the University of Kentucky in 1999.[3]
Career
Prior to his judicial election in 2014, Cotthoff practiced law with the firm of Cotthoff & Willen in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. He previously served as an assistant attorney general in the criminal appellate division.[3]
