Boling ran for election to the 3rd District Court.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 37.3 percent of the vote. He competed against J. Foster Cotthoff.  

Education

Boling received his undergraduate degree from Park College and his J.D. degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Career

Boling maintains his own law practice, Richard Boling Attorney at Law, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. He previously served as a commonwealth attorney for the 3rd Judicial District from 2000 to 2007.
