Lisa Howell

Lisa Howell is a judge on the Lauderdale County Court in Mississippi. She was appointed by Gov. Phil Bryant (R) on October 16, 2017, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Frank M. Coleman. Howell had to run for election in 2018 to retain the seat past the end of the appointment.[1]
Biography
Howell earned a B.A. from the University of Southern Mississippi and a J.D. from the Mississippi College School of Law.[1]
At the time of her appointment to the bench, Howell was an assistant district attorney for the 10th Circuit Court District. Her experience also includes work as an attorney in private practice and service as the welfare chair for the Junior Auxiliary of Meridian.[1]
