Mark Tunnell is a judge on the Chester County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. He was elected in 2011 and his term expires in 2022.

Education

Tunnell earned his undergraduate degree at the College of William and Mary and his J.D. from Marshall-Wythe School of Law.[1]

Career

Tunnell has worked in private practice since 1975. More recently he became a partner at Gawthrop-Greenwood, PC until he was appointed by the Chester County Court as a Mediator and Arbitrator.[1]

2011 election

Tunnell won the Republican Party primary on May 17. He received 14.5% in the Democratic primary and 49.3% of the vote in the Republican primary.[2] He cross-filed with the Republican and Democratic parties. He and Ann Marie Wheatcraft won election to two open seats on November 8. Tunnell received 29.5% of the vote.[3]
