Mary Ann O'Malley is a judge for the Superior Court of Contra Costa County in California. She was appointed to the Contra Costa County Municipal Court by former governor Pete Wilson in 1996 and, in 1998, was elevated to the Superior Court through unification.[1][2]

Education

O'Malley received a bachelor's degree from Mills College in 1982 and a J.D. from the Golden Gate School of Law in 1985.[2]

Career

Prior to becoming a judge for the Superior Court of Contra Costa County, O'Malley was a judge for the Contra Costa County Municipal Court for two years. She also worked at the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office as a deputy district attorney. While in law school, O'Malley worked as a law clerk in the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.[2]
