Peter J. Vilkelis is an associate judge on the Cook Judicial Circuit Court in Illinois. He was first appointed as a judge of the Cook Judicial Circuit Court in 2011 to succeed Donald J. O'Brien, Jr. for a term that expired in 2014.[1] He then ran for election to the Cook Judicial Circuit Court in 2014 but lost in the primary.[2] In April 2014, Vilkelis was appointed as an associate judge for the Cook Judicial Circuit Court. He was reappointed in 2015 and 2019.[3][4][5]

Vilkelis ran for election to the Cook Judicial Circuit Court.
Primary: He was defeated in the Democratic primary on March 18, 2014, receiving 29.0 percent of the vote. He competed against Kristal Rivers and Brendan A. O'Brien.[2][6][7][8]
