Montana Raise the Drinking Age, LR-74 (1978)

The Montana Raise the Drinking Age Referendum, also known as LR-74, was on the November 7, 1978 ballot in Montana as a legislatively referred state statute, where it was approved. The measure raised the legal age for consumption and sale of alcoholic beverages from eighteen to nineteen years.[1][2]
