Biography
Beamon graduated from the School for Creative and Performing Arts.[1]
Currently, Beamon works as a financial adviser. She has worked in the financial services for 10 years.[1]

Beamon submitted the following statement to Ballotpedia:[1]
“ | As a candidate for Office my goal is to restore faith in government and protect equality for all. I also hope to reinstate a Government that is By the People and For the People. My mission is to work to ensure that the voices of all citizens are heard and that the issues and concerns to everyday citizens are being fought for with the greatest diligence.[2] | ” |

Elections for the Ohio State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 6, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 5, 2014. Cecil Thomas defeated Paul Sohi, Dale Mallory, Catherine Ingram, Joe Hye and Angela Beamon in the Democratic primary, while Jacqueline Mikita was unopposed in the Republican primary. Mikita withdrew from the race before the general election, and was replaced on the ballot by Charlie Winburn. Winburn was defeated by Thomas in the general election.[3]
