Rizzo provided the following statement on his Facebook campaign page:
| “ | “A New Perspective”
This is what I plan to bring to the Vineland Board of Education if elected this November 4th. As a former support staff employee of the district in the Technology Department I have been involved with the purchasing of technology related hardware and software, inventory control, budgeting, and curriculum integration. Working closely with many of the districts educators as well as administration, I have had the opportunity to directly impact classroom productivity by my technical recommendations and implementation of technology in the classroom. Those that have had the opportunity to work with me or talk with me know that I am dedicated to the students, educators, and support staff of this incredible district. I plan to bring a new perspective not based on politics or personal agendas, but solely on the success of our students now and in the future, our educators by giving them access to the tools and equipment they need, while strengthening the support staff that plays a vital role in the everyday operations. I ask for your vote on November 4th, as I will bring “A New Perspective” to the Vineland Board of Education in the position of Board Member. Please share this post with all of your friends, family, and coworkers; together we can be the difference.[3] |
