Efforts to recall the two directors of the Audubon Hills Community Services District in Camino, El Dorado County, California, from their positions went to vote on March 31, 2015. The CSD's two directors were James McCarthy and Robert Verzello. They were both recalled.[1][2]

Filings for replacement candidates were due January 15, 2015. Gene Blackmun and Russel L Anders were the only ones to file as replacement candidates and, therefore, ran unopposed as replacements.[1][2]

According to the Audubon Hills Community Service District Bylaws, Article V, Section 6: “Every incumbent of the office of Director, whether elected by popular vote for a full term or appointed, may be recalled by the voters in accordance with recall provisions of the election code of the State of California.” Details about the rules governing a successful recall petition can be found here.[3]
