Background
As of 2019, California Nurses Association PAC was the political arm of the California Nurses Association. The PAC was formerly known as Action for Better Health.[3] According to paperwork filed with the office of the California Secretary State in 2016, CNA PAC's treasurer is Malinda Markowitz and the assistant treasurer is Michael Lightly. The committee is also led by Markowitz, who is the co-president of the California Nurses Association.[4][5]
