Battle Ground has been my home since 1990. I attended Battle Ground Public Schools and have worked at C-Tran since 2010, where I’ve gained valuable experience in public service, teamwork, and the importance of reliable infrastructure that keeps our community connected.
During my time on council, I’ve focused on fiscal responsibility, public safety, reducing city debt, improving roads, and supporting the Utility Rate Reduction Program for Low-Income Seniors. These accomplishments reflect my belief that government should be transparent, accountable, and responsive to the people it serves.
I’m running for re-election because I care deeply about preserving Battle Ground’s small-town feeling while planning responsibly for the future. My top priorities remain keeping our community safe, maintaining essential services, and ensuring taxpayer dollars are used wisely.- Public safety is the foundation of a strong community. I believe our residents deserve a city that invests in law enforcement, emergency services, and safe neighborhoods so everyone can feel secure where they live and work.
- Fiscal responsibility has guided every decision I’ve made on the council. I’m proud to have supported budgets that reduce city debt, maintain essential services, and keep taxes low while ensuring we continue to grow responsibly.
- Finally, I’m passionate about preserving the small-town feeling that makes Battle Ground special. As our city grows, I’ll continue working to protect the sense of community, connection, and belonging that defines who we are.
Responsiveness and accessibility are also critical — leaders must listen to residents, understand their concerns, and act on their priorities.
Council members must listen to residents, understand their needs, and advocate for policies that improve public safety, maintain essential services, and enhance quality of life. They are also responsible for oversight of the city’s budget, ensuring that taxpayer dollars are spent wisely and effectively.
It reflects my commitment to fiscal responsibility, community support, and public service, and demonstrates how thoughtful policy can have a meaningful, positive impact on the lives of residents.
