Christine A. Long

Christine A. Long is a judge for the Third Judicial District in Rice County, Minnesota. She was appointed by Governor Pawlenty in June of 2010.[1][2] She won re-election in 2012 and her current term expires in January of 2019.
Education
Long received her B.A. degree from Luther College in 1988 and her J.D. degree from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1991.[2]
Career
Judge Long began her legal career interning for the Professional Education Group in May of 1989. One year later, she joined the Hennepin County Attorney's Office as a law clerk. She then practiced with the firm of Ruth, Schreiner & Long from August of 1991 to December of 1999 (from 1994 to 1999, she was a partner). Also during this time, from August 1991 to June 2010, she was an Assistant Steele County Attorney.[2]
Elections
2012
Long ran unopposed in the general election November 6, 2012.[3] He received 99.35 percent of the vote.[4]
