Dana Middleton
Dana Middleton is a judge of the Maryland 8th Circuit Court Baltimore City. She assumed office on September 19, 2017. Her current term ends on December 31, 2033.
Middleton ran for re-election for judge of the Maryland 8th Circuit Court Baltimore City. She won in the general election on November 6, 2018.
Middleton was appointed by Gov. Larry Hogan (R) on August 24, 2017, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Stephen J. Sfekas.[1] Middleton took office on September 19, 2017.[2]
Biography
Middleton earned a bachelor's degree from Morgan State University and a J.D. from George Washington University Law School.[1]
At the time of her appointment to the bench, Middleton worked for the Organized Crime Unit in the Attorney General's Office. Her professional experience also includes work as a prosecutor in the Baltimore State's Attorney's Office, a clerk for County Circuit Judge Sheila R. Tillerson Adams, and an associate for the Upper Marlboro firm Williams Worthy, LLC.[1]
