David Golden was an independent candidate for auditor of Washington in the 2016 elections.[1] He was defeated in the primary election.

Golden filed to run as an independent candidate in the 2016 election for auditor of Washington.[1] He competed with Republican Mark Miloscia, Democrats Pat McCarthy and Jeff Sprung, and independent candidate Mark Wilson in the August 2 top-two primary election. Golden was defeated in the primary election by Miloscia and McCarthy.
