Dick A. Van Dyk was the judge of the Eddy County Magistrate Court, Division 2, in New Mexico. He was defeated in his bid for re-election to the Eddy County Magistrate Court in 2014, and stepped down when his term expired.[1]

Primary: He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 3, 2014.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 39.6 percent of the vote. He competed against D'Ann Read.

Van Dyk was re-elected to the magistrate court with 100 percent of the vote.[3]
