Donald H. "Don" Allen is a circuit court judge for the Twenty-Sixth Circuit Court in Tennessee. He has served on the court since 1999 and was most recently re-elected in 2006 and 2014. His current term expires in 2022.[1][2][3]

Education

Allen received his undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi in 1980 and his J.D. degree from Memphis State University in 1983.[1][4]

Career

Allen spent two years as a judicial law clerk for Judge Lloyd Tatum of the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals. He then worked for fourteen years as an assistant district attorney for the 26th Judicial District. He joined the Twenty-Sixth Circuit Court in 1999.[1]
