Retired Tenured Professor of International Business & Marketing, CA State University, Pomona, CA
  • Every child is entitled to a quality education which means the ability to read, write and do arithmetic at grade level. Our educational system is designed to achieve those goals. My educational background and experience can help meet those objectives. I hold a B.S. in Education; a Master's in Research; a Ph.D. in Social Psychology; an M.B.A; and a Juris Doctorate. I am a lifelong learner and hope to inspire others to be the same.
  • We must secure the necessary funding to achieve the existing strategic plan. If that means funds need to be allocated from the Permanent Fund, then so be it.
  • We must retain quality teachers and staff; provide various student opportunities; and promote student well being. We must make sure our schools are safe for students from outside influences.
I obviously am passionate about education at all levels. Education is the most effective and efficient means of upward social mobility especially for the poor and middle class. The more education one has, the more that person can participate in the economic and social fabric of society.
Ethical behavior which means truthfulness at all times.
To enable the system to provide a quality education at all levels.
Knowing that I have helped many students achieve their dreams.
Cleaning the local theatre after shows. 2 years.
Where Do We Go From Here, by Martin Luther King
To help manage a very complicated system to insure desirable outcomes.
Students, parents, teachers, staff, and administrators.
Good teaching means that each and every student is able to read, write, and do arithmetic at grade level. These levels are measured nationally. Encouraging teachers to obtain further degrees is a good way to learn advanced teaching approaches.
This is a grossly overlooked element for students, faculty, and staff and the State is not doing as much as it could.
School days and times should be adjusted to the ages of children based on National Research.
Waiting for the Teachers Union endorsement.
Students must have a supportive environment.
To market the quality of the environment we offer and the benefits available in addition to salaries.
Yes, more focus on the basics: reading, writing, and arithmetic.
AI is highly overrated and in many cases actually wrong. I have researched AI and wouldn't rely on it.
All of my education is my accomplishment: B.D.; M.A.,; Ph.D.; M.B.A.; JD
